Get a Brain! Morans

After heading out from Flagg Ranch this morning, we ran into another Great Divide Rider, Peter, from Germany. He is also using the Extrawheel trailer so after sharing some horror stories (his caused a bit of a crash on a prior day), we moved on.

Much of the day was spent on US 26/287 fighting the distracted RV traffic (usually with an SUV in tow) from Yellowstone/Jackson. Luckily, the traffic died down around Moran Junction as we continued east. Throughout this part of the ride, we were afforded magnificent views of the Grand Tetons, originally “les Trois Tétons” (NSFW).

Finally, later in the afternoon, we pulled into Togwotee Mountain Lodge for a good nights’ sleep, but not before running into Chris and his younger partner, a couple of cowboys from Hollywood and owners of the the Reel to Real Ranch, who were up in Wyoming with their horses on a dog-breeding trip. Just before bed, we noticed in Ralph and Deborah’s blog that they had some recent bike trouble and wondered when they would pop up next.
